About Support Black Games

Support Black Games is a passion project with the intent to collect and showcase video games developed by members of the black community. Some of the best games created by those across the African Diaspora will be featured here. The creators of these games may face a variety of unique challenges as black people, and exposure may be one of them.

Providing this space can help to support black game developers, and to incorporate their efforts into the momentous movement and expression "Buy Black." Diversifying patronage across different industries in the black community can have a greater economic and cultural impact, and black developers in the video game industry see limited support in our community.

For now, the site is merely a showcase that consolidates information about video games from various sources, including blackgamedevs.com, blackvoicesingaming.com, and blackgamedevfund.com to name a few. Future expansion of this project will include the summarization and reporting of data from the evolving knowledge base Support Black Games will cultivate.

The games listed were or are developed by black owned game studios or by black solo developers. Currently, information about publishers is not included here.
